A free speech about both life and death is what I am here for.

All writing is criticism or communication, right? What right have I to criticize death? I have been touched by it, to be sure. But can I unpack it, expand on it, form words around it? One day I will be nothing but the black lines and symbols I’ll have left on white paper. I won’t have depth beyond whatever meaning can be attached to the words. It’s alright: I am happy to continue breathing through words while whatever is left of my other corpus is sprinkled in the mountains or some body of water, goddess willing.
