Amsterdam. October 2018.
I am extremely fit, confident and ready for trouble.
Equipped with Nike (very) shorts and my father’s old jeans jacket, sailor’s bandana on my head.
Skating on a tiny purple ‘Penny’ with a bag of apples, chess-board and turmeric+ginger tea.

I was so happy and energetic at this moment as I just finished 6 months on an African island (Restlessly working and having 0 social life) and I am thirsty for life.
But big Butts — On my terms.

Knowing what enlivens me, what makes me feel proud of myself, what makes me feel real, fresh, nakedly authentic — was always something out of the main rail.

Next train station is this fashion — Thanks, I’ll jump out of the window.

So here I am, the sunniest day the Dutch people ever saw in automn, Vondelpark. Bikini blondes hopping around, groups of friends, lots of runners, cyclists and people actively socializing.. YAY! What a playgorund :)

Before we even start to get social, playing is essential right?
5 skating rounds, 30 minutes of acrobatics on the grass, trees pull ups.

I pour my heart involuntarily into words, since I found that writing is the ultimate solution for a nightmarish sailing journey. I can still connect with you :)
