“Sorry, I don’t do holiday love”

Yesterday,
Exactly where the photo was taken..

blind-dating jellyfish.. sunset.
I am swimming from the open beach to the old port of Caesarea..
Lots of seeweed, reefs, and foamy waves are crashing and disorienting me to land in a tiny cove unexpectedly.
I spit the rest of the salt water in my mouth and suddenly this blonde beauty is jumping between the rocks..
Surprised I say: “How the hell did you get here?”
She types in her phone while having this bizzare look..
I worry and ask: “Is everything all right?”
After all, if she’s there, she’s either lost or made a long journey to get specifically there to get away from the world..
She doesn’t even look at me and keeps on typing.
I ask myself: “And I thought this is a movie scene, how extraordinary moments in life can turn into the most romantic ones, if you dare to be in the wrong places, where expactations don’t even exist, away from the noise, from the crowds, from the us chasing our dreams and not the other way around, telling us to run away from this imaginary shadow that guides us in between the unnecessary norms and one’s useless own fears”

I pour my heart involuntarily into words, since I found that writing is the ultimate solution for a nightmarish sailing journey. I can still connect with you :)
