Never thought I’ll be the one to fertilize your earth
Rich in minerals, now I am, walked over, bent to be called useful dirt
Phosphorus, calcium and scarce protein, I hold onto a role on this planet
A cauldron of bats night-shifts my last breath
Skeletal pieces, nutritious excrement
Gave birth
Black seeds wild plant, sprouting climbing into heaven’s gate
I can indefinitely rest
