Roasted chicken, 90’s fragrance, shall I surprise the her I want
I don’t smoke, but have been conscious-cool to ask for a cigar
A passing stranger open fuck door mirror cold floor, sorry I rhyme
Sometimes I stare at commercials and forget about my horse ride
Just when things started making sense for me, it didn’t last
The chance, I was dining alone and chess was to play against the self
It’s sweet, the way you pretend not to love me, I think you do
I forgot the you and inserted lizard passion to vocal cords & mute
Master button, apple pie I burn every time, when you touch my
Rhythm & Blues, chest to chest, my rookie jumps off course
Don’t know what to say but to draft a story to be laughed at
These city nights, perhaps I’d propel myself into you
Tomorrow I must get you off my tongue as work
Sisyphus carries rocks of doubt, and there are no available seats
And yet a cigar to be holding you accountable for yesterday’s love
And agony
Faded

I pour my heart involuntarily into words, since I found that writing is the ultimate solution for a nightmarish sailing journey. I can still connect with you :)
