Half a Napkin

Some tears were wiped out
some not

Cheeks blushing to the possibilities

Well..
enough was not enough so…

We had to break it into pieces

When I think about it

Some stains on someone elses’ plate

I couldn’t clean it all

While white sheets are yellowing

Hey
you see what I am talking about

You simply can’t be my other half

I am too intelligent
to hurt you

What does that even mean in a modern world?

Arrest me in your arms
and ensure

That falling leaves of Autumn

Were not caught parachuting illegaly

But were left to be
falling

Now kill me softly

With your new plastic boots

Gardening

Early in the morning

When my other napkin was still dry

And safe from unexpected love

Perhaps misunderstood

I pour my heart involuntarily into words, since I found that writing is the ultimate solution for a nightmarish sailing journey. I can still connect with you :)
