How To Love You?

Oceanic vocabulary had dried out but still resonates with slow dripping red wine into a container too vast to have a taste.
Got drunk anyway.

Softly stung, I itch I lick every bit of this chemical electric arm that reached far enough to shallow waters, to burn my feathers.
Flying in water.

How to approach, to reach your safe shores?
Could you keep me at bay and release your hidden dangers I am trying to ignore but love has been painful.

Navigating from light blue to deep red, uncertainty wrapped my wishes and intimate organs and pulled me deeper than I intended to risk.
Let me go?

Emotional salinity unclogged my heart, but nerve-wracked on this sandbank, sunken treasures in bare hands but too heavy to sail, shackled to your anchor.
Departure, date?

You said I was talking about water too much, but how many tacks could I give, to favor your points of sail.
Shall we drown and leave explanations behind, behind this rock, where the birds nest and we, might test this term, that stems from the bottom right up the throat I seagull-kissed you because it’s my nature and you asked desperately for a gulp of air.
My evanescent love,
to you.

La Mer.

I pour my heart involuntarily into words, since I found that writing is the ultimate solution for a nightmarish sailing journey. I can still connect with you :)
