You are all I ever wanted
I hope I don’t fall in love with you
Because forever doesn’t live in me

Good swimming and passing strangers
Please no hugs, no diving
Because my shallow is lake today

The coconut tree gave no fruit
Nature misunderstood fertility
When your arms rewrote my screenplay

06:59 blue skies
Lucky me you weren’t next to me
A poor reason to get out of bed

Two arms are needed
And a sunny side up
For a shattered heart to say: Pump

My father would be proud of me
The day, I’ll let you captain
Our love, without a plan

I waited for nobody
Until you opened your chest
And waited for me to grow into you

A wedding ring for the woman I love
Tested on my small finger, diamonds seduced
& decided to keep it and let you waste our world

I pour my heart involuntarily into words, since I found that writing is the ultimate solution for a nightmarish sailing journey. I can still connect with you :)
