Licking Scars

Looking far

There is blood on my carnivore, incisors in front
Been lumbering, justifying lust

I’ve overgrown my camouflage fur
Where hearts spontaneously purr

In order for nature to conclude
A desert maze misunderstood

organic form & function
If there is heaven

I rather crumble in drought
instead of unreasonable doubt

I earned blame-worthiness
Yet, a mother’s caress

To reconsider earth on flames
Unknown genre who dances

High weed wind blowing
That whispers a single ring

Wild ears to listen
Wide scars in addition

Muscle memory
It isn’t foggy

To envision,
Walking out of a non-existent prison

Savanna’s dawn cry
Stepping out the big why

Daring to be seen
By unapologetic sunscreen

I am coming for you truth be spoken
A crushing bite, to requestion

Longing thirsty lips
For a fountain of bliss

I'll be licking scars around here
I hope you could appreciate a tear

Why would you run away young deer
Just when trust overcame fear

I pour my heart involuntarily into words, since I found that writing is the ultimate solution for a nightmarish sailing journey. I can still connect with you :)
