“Ventricular Fibrillation”

The judge concluded a verdict in partial remorse.
I know what it meant.
Shedding a tear privately, within my drying laryngospasm, swallowing each innocent drop, gently, to maintain my stature, dignified.

“Convicted for first degree: misunderstanding love”

“You have the right to mitigate circumstances or say last words before we proceed with the sentence”

In a rusty shameful voice, testifying:

  1. It wasn’t me.
  2. It wasn’t love.
  3. It was a misunderstanding.

My lawyer stepping violently on my toes, bursting out loud instead —

  1. Presenting physical exams:
    A. Excessive levels of dopamine, adrenaline, serotonin.
    B. Accelerated and disordered heartbeat rates.
    C. Facial redness and optical disorientation.
    4. Disequilibrium and sleepwalking.
    5. Palmar sweating.

“Your excellence, my defendant, most certainly understands love —
Biologically, which harms dramatically his ability to regulate the course of his actions”

“If he’s heartless…?”

The jury listened to the evidence during the trial and replied:
